We offer online and face to face courses for all levels: Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced. We also run some specialist courses and are designing new ones all the times, such as in flash fiction and novel writing.

Our face to face courses take place in Manchester and Liverpool, but you can do an online course from anywhere in the world.

Tutors are Dr Sarah Dobbs and Dr Muli Amaye. Sarah’s novel Killing Daniel was recently longlisted for the Guardian’s Not the Booker prize. Muli’s is out early next year!

We also help with manuscript appraisal. £40 per hour. Email for details.

Hiya Sarah, I’m sure you will be proud to hear that one of your creative writing students (Craig Hallam) is launching his debut novel next month! I just wondered if you have any suggestions as to how we could link Craig’s success story with your tutoring via OU? Many Thanks, Lea 🙂
